The Parish of Yeovil St Michael’s includes and serves the whole of the eastern side of Yeovil, including Birchfield, Pen Mill, Milford, Great Lyde, and Wyndham Hill Primrose Lane areas. Your church of St Michael & All Angels is here for everybody, and hopes to serve with all in the parish – through support, community, spaces of sanctuary, prayer, and worship…. and more. Supporting and working with many community groups, schools, organisations and other churches in Yeovil, St Michael’s hopes to connect and be present where helpful at the heart of the various community areas across the parish.

We are working to open the church building of St Michael & All Angels more frequently during the week soon, for all to be able to find space for peace, reflection and prayer, for simple cafe refreshment, hopefully a parent & toddler group, and chances to meet others and explore questions of life and faith together including in small groups.

Please join us for worship… at St Michael’s 10am Sunday Sung Eucharist weekly service (a ‘traditional’ service with hymns and some sung settings), and from January 2026 a midweek 11am Quiet Holy Communion service (a less formal, short service in the lady chapel). All followed by coffee refreshments. During 2026 we plan to launch ‘Bubble Church’ at St MIchael’s, specially for young families but also for all ages to enjoy worship and informal gathering together. Plus other gatherings for young people and older. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining in and might be wiling to consider joining the Bubble team too!

We are here to be alongside at times of your life events, here for you at St Michael’s for baptisms, funerals (in church or at the crematorium), and weddings. See more details here.

Daily morning prayer is said each day in the parish though not currently in the church building. If you have particular prayer requests (for you or other people or situations) which you would like to be included in confidential daily parish prayers and/or in the more public prayers of the Sunday congregation as we offer all into God’s hands, please get in touch.

We are an inclusive church where all are equally welcome and included – we hope you find space for flourishing, with others, and with God. Look out for new ways to get involved through St Michael’s in the coming months in community events, social gatherings, volunteering to support others, small groups together, exploring faith, pastoral care and prayer.
with prayers and blessings,
St Michael’s Yeovil
